Cradle to Cradle Certified® Resin Floors
Arturo PU2030 and Arturo PU2050 Self-smoothing Floors have both received the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze certificate. The certificate results from more than 3 years of research, intense supplier partnerships and sustainable product developments. Cradle to Cradle Certified® certification is a global accreditation for safer, more sustainable products that are made for the circular economy. The certification program assesses overall sustainability throughout the entire life cycle. It verifies that the raw materials used in Arturo PU2030 and Arturo PU2050 prioritises the protection of the environment.
Material Health
Our products have been evaluated based on the origin of their raw materials. This assessment considered the working conditions at our suppliers, and harmful substances have been replaced with more sustainable alternatives where necessary. For all unregistered or problematic substances, Arturo has developed a strategy for gradual phase-out or replacement. Importantly, no substances present in the materials are on the prohibited list, ensuring the safety and sustainability of our products. Arturo resin floors are made from at least 85% natural materials, further reinforcing our commitment to responsible production.
recycled Material
All products have been evaluated based on the circularity index, ensuring recyclability and using finite resources effectively. The assessment shows that over 65% of the product weight of the Arturo PU2030 and PU2050 resin floors consist of recycled, recyclable, biodegradable, or renewable materials.
Renewable Energy and CO2 Management
The Arturo PU2030 and PU2050 resin floors are produced in our CO₂-neutral factory in Haaksbergen with 100% renewable energy. We use green electricity and have designed our production process to be energy-efficient. Our sedum roof provides insulation and enhances biodiversity. Sedum plants capture CO₂ while producing oxygen, and the rainwater that falls on the roof is used for sanitary flush water.
Water Stewardship
Arturo is dedicated to managing water usage responsibly. By implementing practical strategies and innovative technologies, Arturo strives to optimise water usage and minimise water loss as much as possible. This commitment ensures that water resources are used efficiently and sustainably.
Social Fairness
Arturo embraces social responsibility by supporting social and regional projects. For instance, we employ and help individuals who have become distanced from the labour market. We have also actively investigated social aspects within our products’ supply chain.
Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze certificate
Sustainable supply chain
Arturo has closely cooperated with companies within the supply chain. Approximately 95% of all materials' origins were investigated and, where necessary, changed to a sustainable alternative to obtain the certificate.
Environmental building certification
Thanks to Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze Arturo PU2030 and Arturo PU2050 are ideal for environmental building certifications such as LEED and BREEAM.
