What is Comfort Resin Flooring?
The Arturo Comfort Floor is a multi-layer, solvent-free polyurethane resin flooring system applied at 2–3mm total build-up. Its relatively low Shore D hardness (30D) delivers meaningful underfoot cushioning compared to standard epoxy or hard polyurethane floors, reducing fatigue in environments where occupants stand or walk for extended periods.
The system is applied seamlessly, no joints or seams, producing a continuous, impermeable surface that is easy to clean, resistant to common chemicals, and available in virtually any RAL colour. UV-stable seal coats ensure long-term colour integrity in naturally lit spaces.
Substrate & installation requirements
Before installation begins, the following substrate conditions must be verified and met. Skipping any step risks delamination, pinholing, or premature system failure.

Substrate compressive strength minimum 25 N/mm² : test by pull-off or BRE screed tester

Surface regularity SR2, grind high spots, fill blowholes and cracks prior to priming;

Relative humidity below 75% RH: if exceeded, specify EP6700 2-Coat DPM or EP6960 1-Coat DPM

Surface free of laitance, oil, adhesive, and contamination: shot blast or mechanically grind as required

Ambient and substrate temperature between 10°C–25°C during application and curing

Compatible with underfloor heating, commission UFH at least 7 days prior; turn off 48 hours before application
