What is Comfort Resin Floor UV?
The Arturo Comfort Resin Floor UV, also refered to in the market as liquid vinyl, is the UV-stable variant of Arturo's core comfort floor build-up system. The critical distinction is the body coat: Arturo PU2030, a solvent-free, 2-component aliphatic polyurethane self-smoothing floor, is formulated with inherent UV resistance. Unlike aromatic polyurethanes that requires a UV-protective topcoat to avoid yellowing, PU2030's aliphatic chemistry means that floor body coat itself resist colour shift under UV exposure.
The result is a colourfast, seamless, light-duty resin floor system at 2-3mm total build-up, delivering Shore D 30 underfoot comfort alongside long-term colour integrity. The transparent UV-stable sealer options (PU7310, PU7320) protect the surface and enhance cleanability without masking the floor's inherent colour performance.
The system is solvent-free and independently certified EC1 Plus, the highest emission classification for building materials, and Arturo PU2030 holds Cradle to Cradle® Bronze certification, reflecting its plant-based raw material content and sustainability profile.
Substrate & installation requirements
The UV system requires the same substrate preparation standards as the standard Comfort floor. The following condition must be confirmed before primer application begins

Substrate compressive strength minimum 25 N/mm² : confirmed by pull-off test before proceeding

Surface regularity SR2, grind high spots, fill blowholes and cracks prior to priming;

Relative humidity below 75% RH: if exceeded, specify EP6700 2-Coat DPM or EP6960 1-Coat DPM

No spike roller required, PU2030 contains a degassing agent enabling faster, simpler application

Ambient and substrate temperature between 10°C–25°C during application and curing

Compatible with underfloor heating, commission UFH at least 7 days prior; turn off 48 hours before application
