Arturo and Zenith Flooring Earn Prestigious FeRFA Recognition for Automotive Excellence
Arturo received a Highly Commended award for an innovative ESD flooring solution at a renowned British car manufacturer.
When precision engineering meets cutting-edge flooring technology, the results speak for themselves. Arturo, in collaboration with Zenith Flooring, has achieved FeRFA Highly Commended status in the Large Industrial Project of the Year 2025 category for their exceptional work at a prominent British car manufacturer's facility. This prestigious recognition not only honours technical excellence but also highlights the innovative approaches necessary to meet the stringent demands of modern automotive manufacturing.
The 500 square metre installation at an iconic British car manufacturer demanded more than standard industrial flooring. It required a sophisticated multi-layer system incorporating ESD protection, seamless finishes, and the resilience to withstand automotive manufacturing operations.
The installation combined multiple specialist products from Arturo's industrial range, including the EP2490 self-smoothing compound, underpinned by both standard and electrically conducting primers EP6600 and EP6400.
Each layer required precise application, with careful attention to moisture levels, temperature conditions, and curing times. The result was a floor that functions as an integrated system, with each component playing a vital role in protecting both the manufacturing process and the vehicles being produced.
